At Kaine Mathrick Tech, we believe in supporting the emerging IT professionals who will become the future leaders in the IT and MSP industries.  That’s why we are offering a $2000 scholarship for IT students.

We want to nurture the next generation of talent to help us achieve our goals.  That’s why we are now offering the Kaine Mathrick Tech IT Scholarship to help you in your studies, so you can strive for excellence in both your academia and your career.

Scholarship Details

Kaine Mathrick Tech is an award winning Melbourne based IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) that provides IT support, Strategy and Project Delivery and Cyber Security services.

Entry Task

In order to apply for the KMT IT Scholarship, please submit your response (maximum 700 words) answering the following questions:

  1. What would be some of the advantages and challenges of working at a Managed IT Service Provider compared with working within an internal IT team in a business?
  2. Our purpose is to be the Human Face of Tech. Considering KMT’s MSP business, suggest a novel approach to ensure our customer experience is congruent with our vision.
  3. How will you use these funds to support your study?

We will also conduct an interview with a shortlist of successful candidates to select the final winner.

  • Proof of Identification
  • Must be in final year of study
  • Proof of Citizenship or Permanent Residency (if applicable)
  • Proof of enrollment, including course name, tertiary institution name and enrolment status
  • Your response (max word count 700 words)
  • Contact details (including residential address, email and phone number)

Entries will be judged and a shortlist will be interviewed by the KMT Leadership Panel.

What KMT is looking for in the selection process

The IT scholarship winner will be decided by a panel of judges from the KMT Head Office Melbourne on the basis of entry which best encompasses the task presented.

Applicants should demonstrate:

  • Understanding of IT fundamentals
  • Sensitivity to different IT environments
  • Strong research skills
  • Understanding of customer experience
  • Benefits of scholarship to their study
  • Succinct presentation of information

To apply for the KMT Scholarship Program, you need to be:

  • 18 years of over
  • To be eligible, you must be enrolled full-time in an accredited Australian Tertiary Education Institution in the penultimate or final year of study and be studying for an undergraduate certificate, diploma or degree in Information Technology.
  • Only citizens or permanent residents of Australia can apply.
  • You must be 18 years or older to apply.
How and when will I be notified if I am successful or not?

The winner of the Kaine Mathrick Tech IT Scholarship will be chosen and contacted via the contact details provided in submission in mid July 2022.   KMT will also promote the winner on our social media accounts.

All applicants will be advised via email once the winner has been announced.
