Kaine Mathrick Tech (KMT) has been named a finalist in three categories at the inaugural CRN Channel Awards Australia 2026, hosted by CRN Australia — one of the country’s leading publications covering the Australian IT channel.
The three categories in which KMT has been shortlisted are:
- AI Initiative of the Year
- MSP of the Year (50–100 employees)
- MSSP of the Year
The CRN Channel Awards Australia spans 29 categories recognising outstanding achievement across managed services, cybersecurity, cloud, artificial intelligence, and channel leadership.
This is the inaugural edition of the CRN Channel Awards Australia, making 2026 the founding year of what is set to become a definitive benchmark for the local IT channel. Being named a finalist across three categories in the first-ever edition places KMT among the companies helping to shape what recognition in Australian managed services looks like from day one.

AI Initiative Of The Year
KMT’s nomination in the AI Initiative of the Year category recognises its work helping mid-market and enterprise clients – particularly in legal and financial services, understand, assess, and govern the use of artificial intelligence across their organisations.
The growth of shadow AI, the use of unapproved AI tools that handle sensitive client data, confidential documents, and regulated information without organisational oversight, has become one of the most significant emerging risks for businesses operating in complex, regulated environments. KMT has built a managed AI governance practice to help organisations move from reactive concern to controlled, confident AI adoption, with the frameworks and visibility to match.
KMT is shortlisted in this category alongside Arinco, Dicker Data, First Focus, and Tecala Group.
MSP Of The Year (50–100 Employees)
The MSP of the Year nomination recognises KMTech’s managed IT services delivery across its Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Hobart offices. KMT serves over 147 clients in regulated industries, providing end-to-end managed technology services underpinned by ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certifications.
KMT is shortlisted in this category alongside Digital61, Fuse Technology, and Wild Tech.
MSSP Of The Year
The MSSP of the Year nomination recognises KMT’s managed security operations, including threat detection, incident response, and security posture management for clients in industries where data protection obligations are stringent and the consequences of a breach are significant.
KMT is shortlisted in this category alongside Orro, Seccom Global, The Missing Link, and Tecala Group.
